Shimo

Shimo by Debbie Maddy for Moda Fabrics. Shimo means “frost” in Japanese, so this collection reflects the frost on windows on a cold day in January or the ice crystals on a pond in winter. It is the best of winter - the beautiful creations that form only on a very cold day. While my initial inspiration was snowflakes, that grew to encompass many other beautiful frosty elements. For winter, and for the holidays, these fabrics embody the beauty of the season. Shimo - the best of winter.
