Prym Embroidery Needles Size No.3-9 are also known as crewel needles. These slender needles with a somewhat larger eye can take one or more threads of stranded cotton, e.g. for white linen embroidery. As they correspond in length and gauge with the sharps needles, and are also easier to thread, they are often used as a sewing needle.
